Van Metter, 6/29/12, 7/105
The storm was just passing, so the sign
doesn't look the best. In trying to photograph the lightning, I
pretty much missed the sunrise over the lake. Oh well.
The lake is huge. The rest of the park
seemed to be mainly prairie with many hiking trails throughout it. I
could have explored this one more, but didn't really find anything
interesting enough to justify delaying my travel plans into the hot
day that was forecasted.
