This is a small park. It is connected
with a city park and cemetery, so it looks deceivingly big on a GPS.
Size is not everything, Oakland Mills is basically a mini-zoo. There
is a bird-watching shelter, bobcats, and hawks. I was not expecting
to find predators on display.
Back in the day, there wasn't much at Oakland Mills except the bridge with the tables on it. The ex's family used to camp there when she was a kid and it was free back in those days. Last time I was there must have been '01? They'd added a fish cleaning station, were building a shower house and some other stuff. I never thought they'd dump a bunch of money in it.
